seaport village

Un domingo de paseo en Seaport Village, con personas que quiero, solecito y aire fresco.
Son las cosas sencillas las que llenan mi corazón.

p.d. La última foto fue un momento espontáneo, el aire sopló fuerte y mi cabello voló, al ver la foto me siento como La Sirenita, que debo decir que era mi película favorita de niña :)

A Sunday trip to Seaport Village, with people i love, sun and fresh air. The little things fill my heart. 

p.s. The last picture was a spontaneous moment, the wind blew strong and my hair flew, seeing the picture makes me feel like The Little Mermaid, and i must say it was my favorite movie as a child :)

Eclipse

Como muchos ya saben, ayer 20 de mayo ocurrió un eclipse solar, nos preparámos para verlo (de manera segura) haciendo nuestra propia pinhole camera con una caja de zapatos, de esta manera lo que vemos es la proyección del eclipse.
Hicimos varios experimentos, con un espejo y hasta con una papita! Hicimos nuestro pequeño centro de investigación en el parque; otro fenómeno interesante que produjo es que las sombras se distorsionaban como medias lunas.

Fue muy bonito observar el proceso desde su inicio, viendo cómo evolucionaba el eclipse hasta que el sol parecía una luna. ¿Alguien de ustedes vió el eclipse?

As many of you know, yesterday may 20th a solar eclipse happened, we prepared to watch it (in a safe way) making our own pinhole camera with a shoe box, this way what we see is the projection of the eclipse. 

We made several experiments, with a mirror and even with a potato chip! we made our small research center in the park; another interesting phenomenon was the distorted shadows. 

 It was very beautiful to observe the process from the beginning, watching the evolution until the sun looked like a moon. Did any of you watched the eclipse?

Feliz día de las madres

Hoy se celebra especialmente a todas las mamis, es un día para recordárles lo mucho que las queremos y valoramos en nuestras vidas. Felicidades a todas las mujeres que han tenido la dicha de ser madres, que Dios las siga bendiciendo con días de alegría junto a sus seres queridos.

Gracias mami por ser siempre mi amiga, mi apoyo y ejemplo a seguir, y junto con ella a mi abuelita, porque sin duda alguna son la inspiración y motivación para crear a Antología.

Today we celebrate mother's day, it is the perfect ocassion to remind them how much we love and appreciate them in our lives. Congratulations to all the women that have had the joy of becoming mothers, may God bless you with many more days with the ones you love. 

Thank you mother for always being my friend, my support and role model, and along with her to my grandmother, because they are certainly my inspiration and motivation to create Antología.

baking cookies

He querido un mandil de Anthropologie desde hace mucho tiempo, son tan hermosos que parecen vestidos, finalmente tengo uno, para celebrarlo Tania y yo horneamos galletas de chispas de chocolate.
Hacer galletas es una tradición de nuestra amistad, pero cocinar utilizando mandiles bonitos hace la experiencia aún más divertida, tanto que ahora quiero aprender nuevas recetas.

I've been wanting an Anthropologie apron for a long time, they are so beautiful that they look like dresses, i finally have one, to celebrate we baked chocolate chip cookies. 

Making cookies is now a tradition of our friendship, but cooking with pretty aprons makes the experience even more fun, so much that now i want to learn new recipes.

El fin de semana hice una visita a Ensenada por cuestiones de trabajo, como recompensa la mejor manera de terminar el domingo fue con una visita a Camelia Tea Shop, es un lugar hermoso que cuenta con una gran variedad de té, me encanta la decoración, los detalles, los candelabros, cuadros...hasta las tazas son bonitas y además todo está delicioso, esta vez decidí aventurarme y probé el Caramel Rooibos ¡me enamoré!

 Solo tengo algo que decir: Camelia por favor vengan a Tijuana :)

Over the weekend i made a small visit to Ensenada for work stuff, as a reward the best way to end Sunday was with a visit to Camelia Tea Shop, a lovely place that has a wide variety of teas, i love the decoration, the details, the lights, frames...even the cups were pretty and above all everything is delicious, this time i decided to try something different and the Caramel Rooibos was divine!

I just have one more thing to say: Camelia please come to Tijuana :)

green & fun

Este es mi segundo pantalón divertido, mis pantalones verdes.
Para mí color es igual a diversión, tal vez sea solo yo...pero usar colores brillantes realmente me hace más feliz. ¿Recuerdan cuando experimenté con este nuevo peinado? pues se volvió uno de mis favoritos, es bonito, original y además muy cómodo, estoy segura de que lo usaré mucho este verano.

These are my second fun pants, my green pants.

To me color equals fun, may be it's just me...but using bright colors really makes me happier. Remember when i tried this hairstyle? well let me tell you it has become one of my favorites, it's pretty, original and also very comfortable, i'm sure i'll be using it a lot this summer.

Tenía tiempo queriendo unos pantalones de colores y este es el primero de ellos.

El primero para la colección es rosa intenso, el problema con los pantalones de colores es ¿con qué se deben de combinar? la solución lógica sería un color básico como el negro, pero no era perfecto para mí...conclusión...rosa + rosa :) 

De alguna manera estar toda rosita me hacía querer un algodón de azúcar, me encantó el experimento pantalón brillante y ahora quiero pantalones de todos los colores, especialmente necesito uno rojo!

p.d. próximamente mi pantalón verde.

I have been wanting some colored pants for a while and this is my first one.

The first for the collection is hot pink, the problem with colored pants is: how should i wear them? the logic answer would be with some basics like black, but that didn't seem perfect for me...conclusion pink + pink :)    Somehow being all pink made me want a cotton candy, i loved the bright pants experiment and now i want one in every color, specially i need a red pair!
