Pilcro and the Letterpress

Pilcro and the Letterpress, ese es el nombre de mis zapatos; son los flats más hermosos y cómodos que he tenido, me encantan sus colores brillantes y el pequeño detalle con un moñito de metal, además vienen en una caja hermosa que ni siquiera parece de zapatos. (Pilcro es una marca de Anthropologie, ahí puedes encontrar pilcro flats similares).
Este fue un outfit para un día cómodo y relajado, nunca había combinado verde con anaranjado y realmente me encantó, aunque legalmente no sean colores complementarios creo que hacen bonita pareja.

Pilcro and the Letterpress, that is the name of my shoes; these are the most beautiful and comfortable shoes I've ever had, I love its bright colors and the small brass bow detail, besides they come in a beautiful box than doesn't even look like a shoe box! (Pilcro is an Anthropologie brand, you can find similar pilcro flats there). This outfit was for a comfortable and relaxed day, I've never matched green and orange and I really loved it, even though legally they aren't complementary colors I think they make a pretty couple.

turban + shorts

Como dije una vez con el peinado de 'milkmaid braids', es bueno experimentar cosas nuevas y perder el miedo a los cambios.
Esta vez experimenté con dos piezas: el turbante y shorts en época de frío.
El turbante es una prenda muy utilizada en el medio oriente, sin embargo en este lado del mundo no es muy común, me parece muy curiosa la manera en que un objeto cambia tanto de un contexto a otro. Me dí cuenta de que realmente un turbante (o al menos de la manera en que lo hice) no tiene nada de complicado, basta con una pashmina y unos cuantos movimientos.

El segundo experimento (shorts) también fue un éxito, siempre los asociamos con el verano pero ¿porqué limitarnos? shorts + leggings en verdad es una combinación perfecta.

As I said once with the milkmaid braids hairstyle, is good to try new things and loose the fear of changes. 

This time I experimented with two pieces: the turban and shorts in cold weather.

The turban it's an important piece in the middle east, however in this side of the world not so much, I think it's funny how an object can change according to the context. I realized that making a turban is really easy (at least the way I did mine) you just need a pashmina and a few moves. 

The second experiment (shorts) also was a success, we always think shorts are only for summertime but why limit ourselves? shorts + leggings really is a perfect combination. 

Baby it's cold outside

Ayer hicimos un pequeño viaje a Ensenada porque mi hermano Cristian tuvo su recital de piano y mientras esperabamos que empezara el evento aproveché las bonitas paredes de piedra del lugar para tomar algunas fotos; el frío se ha intensificado...bufanda, guantes, saco, leggings y botas son indispensables para este clima congelante y para ir acorde también se debe escuchar Baby it's cold outside de a Very She and Him Christmas

Yesterday we made a mini trip to Ensenada because my brother Cristian had his piano recital, and while we waited for it to begin I took some pictures with the nice stone walls; cold weather means scarf, gloves, leggings and boots are must, and also the song Baby it's cold outside from a Very She and Him Christmas.
